Casa Rosa and Casa Vales are two traditional Portuguese casas (cottages) set in a pretty valley on the edge of the small village of Bispos. From here there is easy access to the IC3, one of the main North-South roads of Portugal. It is ideally situated for touring the surrounding area.

Close by is the market town of Alvaiazere and a short drive to the historic towns of Tomar and Penela. Also nearby is the river beach at Foz de Alge with fantastic views. Further afield is Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, Coimbra the university city and the atlantic coast at Figueira da Foz

Casa Rosa sleeps 5 and Casa Vales sleeps 6 people. The kitchen comprises a full size cooker, fridge/freezer and all you need to make your stay comfortable. The lounge has the benefit of a fire for winter stays and UK satellite TV, DVD and VCR.

Outside there is a log store and laundry room with washing machine and ironing facilities.

Each casa has its own seating/patio area with a barbeque. There is also the benefit of a 8m x 4m swimming pool with sun terrace and parking for 2 vehicles.

Both casas can be rented individually or together if you prefer. This enables up to 11 people to stay, great for large parties or 2 families to share comfortably.

The cottages at Casa Rosa Vales offer a superb alternative to your usual apartment or villa holiday. The beiras area of Portugal offers all the sun of the Alantejo and Ribatejo but with the greenery and countryside of the Lake District. On top of this you visit traditional Portuguese towns such as Alvaiazere, Ansiao and the knights templar city of Tomar.
